PS Charities is a partner to Professional Solutions (ProSol). Since 2002 ProSol has held an annual charity golf tournament to benefit numerous organizations such as the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, GWU Breast Care Center, Leukemia & Lymphoma and many more.

The Douglas A. Zembiec Memorial Golf Tournament

Doug Zembiec, a highly decorated Marine officer and Naval Academy graduate, was killed while leading a raid on insurgents in Baghdad on May 11, 2007.  Zembiec, 34, was awarded the Silver Star posthumously and received a Bronze Star with a V for valor for leading an infantry company in repeated assaults against insurgents in the Battle of Fallujah in 2004. 100% of proceeds from this tournament benefit the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation to the following scholarships:

*Ramon J. Mendoza, Jr., USMC/Major Douglas A. Zembiec, USMC

*Corporal Elliot Tiesler, USMC

The North Carolina Charity Golf Tournament 

PS Charities hosts the annual North Carolina golf tournament in Sneads Ferry, NC.  The beneficiary is the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, NC.  100% of proceeds benefit families being treated for leukemia/lymphoma at the center.  The donation is made in memory of Sean Williams, the son of Colonel Mike and Debbie Williams, who lost his courageous 13-month battle with leukemia on February 15, 2007.

PS Charities Annual Silent Auction

The annual Caribbean Casino Night and Silent Auction benefits the George Washington University Breast Care Center.  100% of all proceeds are donated the Center’s Patient Assistance Fund.  The fund provides financial help to breast cancer patients undergoing treatment who need help with basic necessities, such as rent, bills and medication costs.  It also offers a number of complimentary programs and services for the patients.
