Oklahoma native Lisa McKeon is a lead volunteer for PSC. As an Air Force spouse, Lisa was very active in the sixteen different communities she and her family moved to in their 24 years of service. She delivered meals on wheels, prepared and served meals at homeless shelters and battered women’s shelters, volunteered at church, led Brownie and Cub Scout Troops, and was a passionate volunteer at the eight different schools her two children attended.
Volunteering is a truly rewarding experience, and Lisa encourages everyone to volunteer their time. The gift of time is priceless!
Kayla joins PSC as the Development Assistant. She recently graduated from Radford University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. Before joining PSC, she interned in Houston, TX, for the Drug Enforcement Administration, working in various departments, including Demand Reduction, where she assisted in the development of community awareness conferences.
PSC’s mission to support America’s military families is close to her heart as multiple members of her family have served in all branches of the military. Including her cousin who served two tours in Iraq in the Marine Corps, her grandfather and father are both Navy veterans and her grandmother, a retired career civilian employee of the Navy Department. Kayla has a keen interest in charitable endeavors, ranging from donating to the well-known organization Locks of Love to participating in an endurance event which raised funds for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
